Brazilian Soccer Advanced Professional Symposium – BFUT Level 1 License

Introduction

The BFUT Level 1 License (Previously named A license) is the highest level of education provided by the Instituto Brasileiro de Futebol. All the contents and experiences of this program are tailored to provide a complete understanding of the 4 levels of a pro club in Brazil and in many top countries.

1. Development – 6 to 11 years old

2. Competitive – 12 to 17 years old – Mirim – Infantil - Juvenil

3. High Performance – 18 to 20 years old – Juniors

4. Pro level

For 13 days the level 1 candidate will be assisting the BFUT Coaching Director Thadeu Goncalves in observing, analyzing and educating the new candidates for: the level 3 Brazilian Educators, the level 2 International educators and directly work with Prof. Pedro Lobao – Head educator of High Performance (The Pro level program of BFUT in Brazil, which develop players to pro clubs around the world).

The dates in 2008 - 2009 will be:

Program 1 : Feb 26- Mar 8, 2009 SP/Brazil.

Program  2: Jul 6-16, 2009. SP/Brazil
In this program the duration will be reduced to 10 days due to the high performance and pro level special combination.

 

Objectives to be accomplished

The Level 1 license candidates will be learning to develop a 12 months year planning;
How to do the complete player analysis

Continued education of game analysis in a high performance and professional level
Implementation of 12 techniques in a high intensity game situation

Day 1 -
8:00pm - Miami - Sao Paulo – Or fly direct to Brazil from other locations or countries

Day 2 -
6:30am - Arrive in Brazil – Reception by  BFUT Brazil  at the Airport
9:00am - Transfer to BFUT Center of Training – watch the video – Session 1 -History of The game Football
10:00am - Check-in, organizational meeting and registration for the
International Soccer Symposium
11:15am - International educator organizational Meeting
12:00pm - Lunch
1:00pm – Bus Leaves to Stadium – Watch a pro/TBA game – Session 2 - Game Analyzes Phase I and II.
3:00pm - Preparation to analyze the game
4:00pm – Game
6:30pm – Return to the Center –
8:00pm - Dinner
9:00pm- Session 3: Classroom - History of the Tactical development of
Modern Football – 1966 to 2007 – Study of the different schools around the world.
Finalize the points of the Game Analyzes TBA game.
10:00pm – End of the day

The program from Day 3 to Day 5 is related to focus in the Development dept. (7 to 11 years old)

Game condition – Analyzing the player individual abilities: ability of marking / attacking – ability of Passing and penetration – ability to read the game – peripheral vision and ability to improvise (two feet)
10:15am – Field – Session 10 – Tactical - Application on the field – Speeds of the game - Defensive

Game Condition – Man on Man and Zone marking
Field – Session 11 - 11v11 – Different kinds of pressure – High / Low and Full

Body measurement – tests of elasticity and 5 steps to decrease the level of inflammation

Focus in the Competitive Dept. (U13 to 1U17)

9:00am – Field – Session 19 – Technical - Short crossing – finishing – Phase I, II, III and IV
11:00am - Field- Session 20 – Technical – Tactical – Decisions inside of the box.
11:45am – Noon – Questions –Answers

3:00pm – Field Session 21 - Building from the Back – Defensive Sector
4:30pm – Field – Session 22 - Building from the back – Midfield sector
5:30pm – Field – Session 23 – Building from the back – Offensive sector

8:30pm – Classroom – Session 23 - Preparing the training session for the practical evaluation
The Coaching Director will give the assignment

From Day 8 to Day 12 – BFUT is offering the High Performance Dept. Coaching Course (players from 17 to 21 years old) – Preparing to become professional players

09:00am - Session 12 – Speeds of the game – Cycle of the game - Basic patterns – 4-3-3 and variations
10:30am - Session 13 – Vertical triangulation.
12:30pm - Lunch
1:30pm - Session14 – Visit to a U20 pro club in preparation for the Copa Sao Paulo – Questions and Answers.
3:00pm – Observe and analyze the session.
6:00pm - Return to the Center
7:30pm – Dinner
Time off – preparation for the Exams

Day 12 -
07:30am - Breakfast
09:00am – Session 15 – Field – Coaches Evaluation – Practical

12:00 – Lunch
2:00pm – Session 16 - Theory evaluation
4:00pm – End of the program
6:00pm – Leave to the Airport
Return to the original country.

 

General Information and Costs

Minimal Requirements
  • BFUT  License level 2 / BRUSA (Previously called B License)
  • Have held BFUT level 2 License for a minnimun of 12 months.
  • Course Description or coaching experience resume.

Bfut responsibilities

  • Diploma of the BFUT License Level 1 course (If approved).
  • Accommodations: Apartments with double or triple accommodation
  • 10 days and 9 nights – BFUT center of Training – Salesopolis and BFut Conmebol Center of Training Brazil.
  • Meals: 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
  • Transportation: Round trip airfare from Miami, FL – Sao Paulo, Brazil - Miami, FL
  • All ground transportation in Brazil
  • Two Professional game tickets
  • Planned sightseeing trips
  • One full time BFUT (Brazilian Educator) assisting the group – Prof. Thadeu Goncalves will be the Director of Education.
  • Receive the Educator Kit* (1 Warm up ,1 White BFut Polo Shirts, 2 practice t-shirts, and 1 travel bag)
  • A copy of the book:“The Principles of Brazilian Soccer” by Prof. Thadeu Goncalves
  • A copy of the Tactical Software : “Futebol Made in Brazil” by Prof. Thadeu Goncalves
  • The Level 1 Official Educator manual
  • Visits to Pro Club
  • All other unexpected expenses associated with the program for which BFUT is responsible
  • Medical assistance in case of any injury (Minor injuries). Each Educator (Coach) must have a medical insurance. RX, other especial procedures such as: surgery, special physical therapy, etc. will be charged from the insurance company.

Cost: U$2,950.00 - Round trip - Airfare Miami- Sao Paulo- Miami included

Cost: U$2,200.00- No Airfare, only in Brazil
